The absolute best BBQ anywhere in Louisiana. Well worth the drive from Shreveport. Nowhere else comes close.
Less than average. Stopped in tonight and we tried the pork rib plate and brisket plate. I would have to say this is less than par for the course for BBQ in the Shreveport/Bossier area. And par in this area is bad. Pork ribs were not smoked long enough and showed tell tale grill marks that suggest they are reheated on a grill. They could have used more rub as well. There was very little flavor. Beef brisket was honestly the worst I have ever tasted. Not even the squeeze bottle of bbq sauce could help it. I asked for cuts from the fatty end and still received slices with all the bark and most of the fat cut off. This brisket had been badly abused in an oven for reheating to the point the beef broth it wrongly was basted in made the meat taste like a bad roast. Brisket was a pale grey with hardly any smoke. As for the sides. Nothing exciting. Beans had some brisket shredded within it. Potato salad was bland. If you are looking for good or even decent enough BBQ. This isn’t it.
I am a BBQ fanatic and I am sooooo hooked on this place. Best around for sure!!!! Try the brisket! They try so hard but I don’t think they are well enough known yet. I will continue to spread the word to support them.

Best BBQ in town. The only downside is that its a mom and pop restaurant. The service is great but alil slow at times. You know a restaurant is good when they have run out of food before they closed.
