Back to making great food!! Last time I visited about six months ago it wasn’t great, but gave it another try and I’m glad I did. Great sandwich and soup. Gumbo has great flavor. Prices are just a little high but not too bad.

Filling and tasty. I always get the chicken Parmesan Alfredo pasta. I haven’t been let down. The prices are fairly high, but you get what you pay for. I never leave hungry.
Bad Experience. We love the Castalanos in Morgan City and thought we would enjoy the one in Houma. Walked in around 2:00 so no lunch rusth, we were the only ones there. Manager did not even acknowledge our presence – just called to a cashier from the back to help us. We placed our order and waited about 25 minutes for our SANDWICHES – when we asked where our food was – the person told us she didn’t know – she was on break! But – after glaring at her – she checked and brought our very cold, soggy food. We left it there on the table and they refunded our money and will never darken their door again!
We did not enjoy the meal. The food was not hot. It was greasy. And the most amazing part is… We were the only ones there.
Nice cafe for lunch. Great, refreshing Italian selection. Definitely not a private place; small and tables are close together, but you can eat outside too if you like. Bright, natural light. Menu board when you walk in – get your drink, place your order and sit down. Food tasted great.
