Place is unclean. Food is Ok but not kept clean. Light fixtures have buildup of grime, ceiling is moldy, ac vents are disgusting. And last but not least, a child running in and out of the kitchen touching food and utensils. Will not be back.

For south Louisiana, this one is a disappointment. We have eaten in cafeteria-style restaurants and buffets around the country. This one falls somewhere in the middle of the pack. It is not gourmet food in any stretch of one’s imagination, however, it is not garbage either. Some care appears to be taken in the preparation of at least some of the dishes. I enjoyed the vegetables most of all, but I went there hoping to find a protein I would really like. Sort of like was the best I could do by sampling all the proteins they offered. The kids loved the restaurant because they had chocolate, and white chocolate, and caramel (if that is what you can call it?), and sugar deserts.I was truly hoping for something better in south Louisiana. I think they would do much better if they would stop using the standard cookie cutter recipes sent out from the Chief Corral, and let some half-way decent south Louisiana cooks add seasoning they grew up with…cajun/creole seasoning, blackened seasoning, file, and fresh herbs and spices. They would certainly have much better reviews and many more customers if they did this.I will try to return for breakfast and see if somehow I can bring some seasoning with me next time and use some of it on the eggs or something. I do understand they offer steaks and will have to get one almost rare to make sure they don’t do too much damage to it.

The food is okay, but I’ve have issues with the service and management before on multiple occasions. The cashier charged my card twice and the manager didn’t handle it in a professional manner. I’ve heard management yelling at servers across the room. I’d rather eat elsewhere if the management team can’t act professionally in front of paying customers.

It is what it is. Ok, so occasionally you don’t actually know what exactly it is that you want to eat, if that is the case its very hard not to find something you’ll enjoy on this buffet. I’ve found the food quality to be above average for a buffet-styled restaurant.

Family Friendly. Overall I really like this place. They have plenty of food selections for the whole family so everyone can find something they like. Its a buffet style restraunt with a salad bar, variety food bar, and desert bar. Its a big restraunt with lots of seating. The prices are very reasonable. The restraunt and bathrooms are very clean. Overall I give this restraunt **** 4 Stars
