Just had dinner at the Hong Kong and what a treat it was to have such great fresh Chinese food that was not being heated on huge buffet line. Soup for starters was good, I had the corn and chicken and my wife had wonton, all was good. April was our waitress and did an outstanding job making recommendations and helping with the menu, she also was great on getting the hot saki out along with our entries on a very timely manner. Next time we have a craving for Chinese we will be returning to Hong Kong……..

Hong Kong. Food is always fresh and service is some of the best. We have eaten here from 1987 and keep going for the friendly and helpful service. Need something just ask and they will do their best to help you. No buffet and no msg. Prices are good and portions are ample.Mae and Lloyd Chauvin
Chinese, Chinese food.. Good selection and fairly tasty food. The typical quality you’d expect at any typical Chinese restaurant.
The manager was rude. We both had burnt, overcooked food. She refused to refund any of it and argued with us. Will never eat at this place again.
Hong Kong Restaurant Houma, La. This day I decided on takee outee..I usually like all Chinese food as much as I like all spaghetti. But not today, not the chicken broccoli. The first was more like terrible chicken stew! And I normally love chicken stew. No thick tasty sauce, just very watery weak gravy! Lots of gravy …. And overcooked soggy broccoli.The second meal was equally as bad. soggy, overcooked veg’s. I And they were attempted to be eaten within 20 minutes after leaving the place. I have gotten a bad pizza a couple of times, and if you let them know right away, they make it right for you Even McDonald’s will replace a meal if you are not satisfied. Not this place… I was put on the phone with I guess the owner. She said you get nothing! No refund, no exchange!. To me this is bad business, and I won’t go back or recommend that anyone else go there. She only said that in 20 yrs. no one else ever complained. Well now someone has, and she doesn’t care to turn my bad experience into a good one. I work in a restaurant very close to them, and if we get a dissatisfied guest, for any reason, we are determined to make you a happy guest, one that will return. Replace meal with something else, refund money, or gift card for a free meal. Now that my friend, is the right way to run a business. The young lady who waited on me was very nice.
Delicious, we are from out of town and have a camp in Cocodrie. I told my husband I wanted Chinese but NOT a Buffett. The wonton soup is stellar as is the mandarin chicken. The portions are reasonable and so are the prices. The only thing that wasnt very good is the sweet and sour sauce. I usually pile sweet and sour sauce over everything but this food didn’t need any
