The service is much improved with a very good attitude now. I enjoyed their pork belly twist on the pork and shrimp spring roll. My Pho was served correctly with the veggie plate and was tasty. I wish they had the tendon and tripe to go in the combo Pho.
Disappointed. I ordered foods to go and told them to put everything on the side for my baguette and they ended up not doing what I asked for plus they did not give me all the stuffing for my baguette. And, I also ordered some grilled shrimp spring rolls and they didn’t give me the dip for it. And, now they rise the prices on all their foods. Also, their pho is very disappointing because of not enough stuffs(beef and meatballs) put into the soup and not much flavor in the soup. And they overcharge the pho more than what you get from the dish.
This is Vietnamese pho like it is meant to be. Delicious!
I’ve eaten here a number of times and though I’ve made a few selections I wasn’t crazy about, I have never been disappointed with the quality of the ingredients or dish. I would eat here again and do recommend. My favorites are the spring rolls and the Pho rare steak with hot green tea.
First I would like to start off and say the food from White Bowl has never been unsatisfying. I have eaten there many times and have had bad service almost every time Lindsey was waiting my table. Many of times she has preferred to go over to another table over and over before she even gets to ours, there has even been a time where she made us wait for almost 30 minutes before she even got our drink order. I forgave all of these times because I chalked it up to the restaurant being kind of busy, she was nice, & I love the food, I even gave a 50% tip as I always do. This last time I went was just so unprofessional, the restaurant was almost empty when we stepped in, so she promptly took our order but she wasn’t as nice as usual, actually you could tell she was upset or annoyed. Then she sat at the bar on her phone while waiting for our orders to be cooked and started complaining loudly about not having any tips that day to her co-workers. She only checked on us once and made my friend & I feel unwelcome there with her attitude. Instead of complaining about not getting any tips that day why wouldn’t she give great service to our table and then get a good tip which my friend and I always leave? She was only nice at the very end of the meal, which seemed very fake to me. Her unprofessionalism makes me want to start ordering take out from White Bowl.
Love it!. This place is great! I could eat the lemongrass chicken bahn mi everday (forget a $5 footlong, this is $4.50 and is sooooooo much better). Really enjoyed the spring rolls and the fried rice (best ever), also. And the kids fell in love with the mango bubble tea and the pho (that’s right a 3 year old loves it!).
Haven’t had Vietnamese before white bowl… but I love everything I have had here. Best food and portions for their price in houma!!
