  I have been eating donut king my entire life. I have tried to find another place with a menu this delicious & have only found the relatives that started a shop with the same recipe. The donuts themselves practically melt in your mouth. If you go at the wrong time somethings may be cold but that’s why there’s microwaves. 5-10 seconds and your good. The king cakes are amazing & available year round. The kolaches are delicious I’m partial to the sausage cheese & jalapeo.

  Dissapointed. I went to donut king and they had two cars at drive threw ,I walked up to window ,one lady and a gentleman was also inside and one lady was working window I was the only one at window,I waited while the lady watch me wait and look at for about 5 min,then I was going to knock on window than she came to wait on me with attitude ,I place my order than she tells we are short today and I said I know that feeling ,I got my order and left .I went back mabey an hour and half later because my grandsons wanted donut holes I went back to the window the same lady saw me at window looked at me twisted her mouth and went to the back and im standing there looking very uncomfortable ,my thing is we all have bad days but customers services is 50 percent off your businesst ,she could of came to window and said give me a minute instead gave me a nasty look and turned her back on me ,if u dont like ur job find another one ,any way this will be my last vist there ,Im sad to say,I deal with people all day as well and I know how it is,but no excuse to be rude .

  Best King Cake since McKenzie’s for me!. Baby-the best King Cake ever. I went to Manny Randazzos but they ran out of the Royal after I stood in line for 15 minutes. So lucky for me on my way I forgot I wanted to stop and get a king cake somewhere. Baby I went to this place and the King Cakes are the best. Not your traditional king cake at all. Its like a donut king cake. They can fill it with whatever you want and they are dirt cheap to be so good and they give you a free two liter Coke to go with it! You can’t beat that. It was sooooooooooooooo good!! I couldn’t wait to get home to eat it it looked like a cake dessert. I got the strawberry and cream cheese and it was the best cream cheese I have tasted on a King Cake since McKenzies. They use to be my number one for filled King Cakes. Donut King will now be my number one!! Did I mention they are dirt cheap!! I bought one to send to my brother. I hope he gets it… 🙂

  Best donuts I’ve ever had. You can keep that Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts crap. A longtime Lake Charles favorite, this place easily beats them both.
