My daughter likes this place but I don’t know why. The chicken fingers are small, dry and overcooked, the fries have some strange seasoning that completely overwhelms the potato flavor, and it all tastes like the grease needed to be changed about two weeks ago.
I would not agree with some of the comments here. I believe some of these writers must be competitors. I normally do not write reviews, but my kids showed me these reviews. I have been going to Hey Mans for about six months at least twice a week with my kids. They work very hard and are always respectful, unlike other places. There food is very good and always consistent. I don’t feel it’s a canes knockoff. They have a variety of catfish, burgers and chicken. It is very disappointing to see people try and attack local businesses. I have been to Canes and Popeyes as well, and received cold and greasy food. This place has great food. If you don’t like their food take it back and they will probably give you your money back if you give the food back. I have waited in line sometimes, but my food is always fresh. But the food is great!!!
Unfortunately, I would have to agree with the other review on this place. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes for it, was expecting something below Popeyes and Canes as far as chicken strips but this place was horrible. The lemonade is the worse I have ever tried, undrinkable and any sandwich is covered in a buttery based bun that makes the bread soggy. Also, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, a somewhat healthy choice, and threw it away due to the overwhelming amount of grease on it, (it wasn’t much of a sandwich anyways just two small strips on it). To top it off, you know the food is bad when the kids say they don’t likethe chicken strips and came home and ate soup. Our total bill was about $35 for5 meals which is very reasonable, however, I couldn’t justify going back if the bill was $10, it was justthat bad….
Best Chicken Fingers, Burgers & Fish. Chicken was large fingers and could tell they were fresh, lemonade was spot on.. My family said the burger was the best in town and the fried catfish was better than they had at any catfish houses. Want be back to canes!!!!
TERRIBLE!!! This Raing Cane’s knockoff is terrible. I went by for lunch, it was dead which should have warned me. The lemonade was soured like old lemon peels. The chicken dry and over cooked. The quality is poor. Stay away.
Hey Man! Chicken Fingers Responds to Skywalker. Mr. Skywalker,Our Chicken Fingers are priced very competitively for fresh never frozen chicken fingers. We are not trying to compete with any other quick service restaurant that uses flash frozen chicken tenders with mainly crust. Not condemning, just stating fact. Our chicken fingers are hand cut and average 2oz’s per finger, if you check our direct competitors you will find they way 1.1oz to 1.5oz per finger. We hand cut our fingers and marinate them for a 24 hour period and create our on seasoning in house and then hand batter each chicken finger. I sincerely apologize if you feel we have not met your expectations. We value your comment and hope you will try us again. All of our products our fresh never frozen. Also, we mix and handcraft all of our burgers and hand cut our fish filets. If you didn’t get the quality you feel you deserve and was asking for during your visit, please go back to Hey Man! Chicken Fingers and see the General Manager and he will be more than happy to return your monies. Very pricey for little pieces. :Paid over $9 for 6 little pieces of chicken!! Won’t be back.
