Hidden Treasure. Just found Veronica’s lived my whole life in Breaux Bridge. Never knew it existed. The food was not so highly seasoned that you could not enjoy the flavor. My mom is 83 and I often need to bring her some food most of it she will not eat because it is toooooooo hot .She just loved the food. Will be back again Keep up the goooood work

The place is small with good home style Cajun cooking. The staff is friendly and helpful. Light zydeco music in the background helps with the atmospere of the place. Daily specials for the day was Smothered Okra with chicken and sausage, steak and gravy, smothered potatoes, I stayed safe and ordered Gumbo. Da juice was good… Da chicken was da white meat. Dat was good. The sausage seemed like a mix sausage…. Good but I prefer straight pork sausage. Rabedeaux brand is my personal favorite. Potato salad could have been better but that’s a personal preference thing. Dessert was a Turtle Brownie. Very yummy. Overall a very good place for a great home cooked meal. I’d eat here often to keep my stomach full and happy.

I picked up and the person who served me was very friendly! The gumbo was delicious! I’m picky about sausage-so I would rather sausage with a texture and smoke flavor like from Best Stop, but it was still very good as is! I definitely recommend it!

Ok, but not great. I had lunch here and was going to order a hamburger based on a previous review of this restaurant. It was just a little after 11:00 and the place was already pretty busy and I didn’t have alot of time so I decided to get a plate lunch since the food for that was already cooked. I got the hamburger steak (comes with mashed potatos) and two sides of cole slaw (the sides were cole slaw, potato salad and sweet peas-i don’t like sweet peas and potato salad didn’t seem a good choice since i had the mashed potatoes already so two sides of slaw it was). the hamburger steak was ok but could have used more seasoning. hardly any gravy for the potatoes. the cole slaw was fine. the place became packed so i didn’t want to go back to the line to get more gravy. judging from the crowd maybe i just ordered the wrong thing, everyone seemed to be enjoying their lunch, one guy even stopped what appeared to be the owner to tell him how great the gumbo was. If i return, i’ll stick to getting a burger maybe.

Delicious!. I could eat the Old Fashioned Hamburgers all day every day. Thick, juicy, and excellent flavor. The family that runs the cafe is very friendly. Check this place out! The focus here is on quality, and it really shows.
