I haven’t had their poboys but as far as a grocery goes these guys have an incredible booze department, almost mind boggling. They also have a good meat market, beef, USDA, Prime, Angus, Choice, and Select, that runs great weekly specials.
Best Selection of Wine and Import / Craft Beer in the Metro Area. Acquistapace’s has the BEST selection of wine and import & craft beer in the New Orleans metro area. Best prices too. It’s definitely worth a trip!

Covington Local. Having shopped here for the past 25 years we have come to know this place very well. We occasionally buy prepared dinners from the deli, and it it one of the best food dinners around. We doubt seriously if you can prepare it as well, have it taste that good, and it not cost you more to do it.If you are looking for beer, wines or hard liquor, they only have about 6,500 items in stock, marked at the legal state minimum prices. If you can’t find it here, stop wasting your time looking, or get on an airplane and go to Europe to find it. Even then you would be hard press to improve on their offerings. And to make things even better, the owners and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Why shop anywhere else.
Great value on poboys. Bear’s is definitely better, but you can’t beat the value on the poboys here. They load them down with meat and toppings. You won’t be disappointed.
Best Value Around. You want to go to deli and order a po-boy. It will have about 4 pounds of meat on it, you’ll pay $3, and it’ll taste like your grandma made with love (these figures aren’t exact, buy you get my drift.)I love the grocery as well. It’s small, but with lots of selection. Great wine and best place to buy steaks.
Grocery Store. This is a grocery store, not a restaurant. Having said that, it’s an awesome grocery store with a great alcohol section and a lot of local produce and meat. I haven’t tried any of their prepared food, so I don’t know how good this place is for actual meals.
