From Chicago and grew up on gyros. Food is Frozen not fresh not authentic Greek. Avoid this place!! No gyros log or chicken swarma, seasoned normal chicken and gyros is frozen strips. Bad overall, could cook better at home. Fries soggy, bad again. Pita just white pita u buy at wal mart. Please save your money, goto any other Greek restraunt, avoid!!
Pretty average Greek food. Good but nothing special.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!. Baba Ghanoush has the best Greek food in town, hands down. The little restaurant is busy, clean and in very close walking distance to most downtown Covington. The owner Phil is great! He is friendly and knowledgable of his product. His staff is professional, happy and talented in the preperation of the Greek style food they prepare. I highly recommend the Gyro or one of their daily specials. It just can’t be beat! 5+ Stars.
Nice owner and cheap food. The food quality, however, is poor. The food is obviously frozen. The gyro meat was tasteless and cut too perfectly not to be frozen. The pita bread and sauces were blah. Very surprised at the amount of people who vote that they like this place. I suspect they like the personable owner more than they like the food. Though the rude staff aggravates me, I’ll continue to give Albasha my business because the food is a lot better.
I can’t believe they only recieved 92% (at this time) that like this food. They have amazing food. Their food is far superior to any other food like it on the north shore. A must try if you are interested in branching out.
My husband and I love it. Best Greek around. The owner is really nice, too.
Covington Locals. My wife brings home food from here at least once a week. Delicious, and I don’t even like Mediterranean food. Our favorite is the Greek Salad, but we have not had a bad meal from here yet. Phillip is a delightful person to know.
