BEST POBOYS EVER!. I’ve been going to bears ever since I was in sixth grade and to this day, 20 years later, they are still making the best and freshest poboys. I love you guys!
Great Po-Boy Sandwiches. Good sandwiches cooked and prepared when you order. It takes a few minutes, so be patient. The wait is worth it. The food is great, right up there with the best Po-Boy shops around.
Great food good service except on the video game machines at the bears in downtown Covington.. PAC Man game stole my 50 cents today, spoke to two bears employees & neither of them responded. If the games broken & steals money turn it off or fix it. That bears location brings in enough money to deal with these type of problems. Love bears, great place to eat & have eaten there all my life. Roast beef po boy is the best, couple good friends of mine get the BBQ shrimp every time & say it’s the best around.
Simply the Best Po Boy in the Area. If you have out of town guests and want to do them a real favor, take them to Bears. I usually order the Ferdie, which is a combination of their delicious roast beef and ham. Roll up your sleeves, make sure you have a lot of napkins, and enjoy. The bread is always perfect, the meat is juicy and delicious. It is the perfect po-boy.
LOVE. When I think of bear’s, I think of happiness! If you are around the area when they are open STOP IN! You will never be sorry! I love the bbq pull pork–Must try.
Fabulous PO Boys! They are only open 10:30 am -3 pm, and they are busy till they close. Fabulous shrimp, and the ham and cheese were very good. We plan to try the roast beef next time.
This place is great. Lots of meat in the roast beef po boy. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Very reasonable price. Staff was super nice. Very casual dining.
