Always enjoy this place.. I love chinese food and when I get the chance to get some, I go here. First off, its only blocks away from where I live. I think the prices and the quality of the food is great. The service there is fantastic and if anyone says its greasy, some dishes are in fact greasy but what you are ordered is fast chinese food and not something comparable to places like Trey Yuen in Mandeville. This place rocks. I love it.
Best Chinese take-out in Covington. This has to be the best Chinese take-out in the area! The owners and staff are very awesome people. I have been going there for years now and have never had a problem. It’s the best in the Covington area!
I’ve ordered both lunch and dinner from China City. The food is pretty good, not awesome but good for the price. The shrimp fried rice is a little on the dry side…the shrimp are nice sized but they only put a few in your order. Staff is very friendly and professional.

Food that good right after a Hurricane? Really?. Driving through Covington on the Friday after Hurricane Isaac after assessing damage at the office, saw this place open with a big sign and was motivated to stop, not only by hunger and limited options, but also admiration of the owners gumption to re-open so quickly. Cute kids out front helping me order. Combination fried rice and General Tso’s was great and in quantities large enough to feed our whole clan of temporary evacuees.If the food is that good right after a hurricane passes through and most places aren’t even open, I can’t imagine how good it’d be on a normal day.
Horrible! I ordered chicken but not sure what it was. The sauce didn’t even tast good
