Tried Lola for lunch and it was not the same as described in the online menu. The sandwiches sounded exciting and flavor filled on the menu, but were actually quite bland and tasteless. The soup reminded me of a canned flavor and also wasn’t what I expected! On the other hand the dessert and salad were very flavorful and enjoyable!
Party of four, we waited almost two hrs for our food despite having a reservation .We asked the waiter several times but were left for almost two hrs without dinner.Staff were nice as was the food when it arrived, but it was late, 10PM almost when the food arrived.For an expensive restaurant the wait for food is unacceptable.
One of my favorite places to eat lunch! I love the salads- The food is always fresh and tasty. Innovative sandwiches and great daily specials. The system for ordering works and I am always able to get lunch in under an hour. Enjoy seeing the chef at the local farmers market. Love to support a local restaurant supporting our local farmers.
Expected more but still good!. I went at lunch time on a Wednesday, they had a decent amount of people but as we sat there people began to load in, that really says something about a restaurant near the courthouse.The restaurant has a great atmosphere. I am not a big fan how self-serviced it was. i am from out of town and we walked in and sat down expecting a server to come over but they just kind of looked at us for probably 3-5 minutes then told us what to do. My brother-in-law order the the depot(so did I) and we both agreed it was too much bread and lacking meat. i must say that that was one of the most flavorful foccia(mispelled i think) breads ive ever tasted. the bluecrab and asparagus soup was full of flavor and the little side salad was good too. the desserts were good as well. overall I would go back for lunch again but I better dinner would be much better servicr and dining experience because while i was there a felt somewhat lost on what to do.
