Friendly staff, quick service and if you like eggs Benedict then you’re at the right place. Must have been 20different versions. The steak breakfast is pretty huge as well. All in $60 for three breakfasts.
Aside from the medium rare burger being tartare this was a decent dining experience with great ambience. The crabmeat Benedict was spot on. Our server was a bit curt as if we might be bothering her but not enough to ruin it for us. We would certainly stop in again here and try other items on the menu.No alcohol served here as information.
At the recommendation of a co-worker I dropped in for breakfast at Mattina Bella in the old downtown section of Covington LA.First observation, the place was packed with a waiting list for tables. Being a single I choose the faster choice and dined at the counter.Service was instant! I had my first cup of coffee within a few seconds of being seated.I ordered the California omelet. it took about 6-10 min for the order to arrive to me. Everything was as I ordered and the food was hot. Quality of the food was outstanding! So much so I had to give them a 5 in all catagories. I started talking with the hostess who seated me. I learned this was a family owned and run establishment with a long history at this location. It is not on the main street so you will have to look to find it, but it is a destination well worth finding! So foodies, go forth and enjoy!
Best breakfast in town. Mattina Bella is our favorite spot to grab breakfast. The Eggs Melanzana is my go-to order, but if you’re looking for a more simple breakfast, they’ve nailed that too. In the mood for something sweet? Get a waffle…. They’re incredible. Can’t say enough wonderful things!
LOVE their breakfast!. We love going here for breakfast after church. My favorite is their egg Benedict! Great atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Definitely one of our favorites.
Very good. Surprisingly I got my favorite north shore hamburger here. I wasn’t expecting that but it was very good and cooked almost perfectly medium. The waffles are awesome, the eggs Benedict is great. I didn’t like the spaghetti sauce so much but it seems like I don’t really like any restaurants spaghetti sauce for some reason that I haven’t figured out yet.
