Coffee and Chicory, great!. I noticed another reviewer’s mention of lousy coffee. Not true, if you order the coffee and chicory! It is strong and nice and thick. Don’t order the eggs though. The last time we tried that, they were supposed to be baked, but were actually practically raw. The whites were not even half cooked.OTOH, their BLT is delish, as is their chocolate cake.
Lynn Johnson. Thank you Nick. I called from Calif. to have a drink sent to a friend who was working crowd control for Mardi Gras Parade. Nick helped me without hesitation all the way from California. THANK YOU NICK!!
Real and Real Good!. St. John’s is real. The energy and the ambiance in the shop is something you cannot find anywhere else! The coffee is the BEST in the area. The food is delicious and well-made and I love the new lunch menu!As for the above post, all you have to do is simply ask for a menu for prices of food items, not only are they available, they are ALL over the counter for you to take and listed on their website. As for coffee, the baristas are the freindliest around and would be happy to tell you the prices of drinks.
Good people and atmosphere. Probably the most coffee shop atmosphere out of all northshore coffee shops. The Baristia’s are friendly and great. They take their time and do things right, however the coffee is bland. It is no fault of the workers, I just think they are buying cheap coffee.
St. Johns coffee is the best coffee around! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The workers are very nice and hard working. It a good place to come sit and do work.
