I had visited a friend at The hospital for 3 days, and went to the cafeteria for most of my meals. They offered excellent food at very low prices. They had quinoa and other vegan offers that surpassed restaurant quality for less than an average salad bar price. There were gluten-free options that u’d never know we’re gluten-free. All nutritional facts were available for each item on the menu. I ate 5 star food for less than $5 / meal and couldn’t believe I was eating in a hospital.
Hospital Food! Are You Sick?!. Well, duh, yeah! For visitors, It’s located in the northeast corner and open daily 7AM-7PM. My omelet with mozzarella cheese, ham, mushroom and onion was actually pretty good! Of course, being in a hospital, you’ll have to add your own salt and pepper. The croissant was really fresh with a hint of butter. I’d forego the vegetable beef soup… unless big chucks of bland, stewed tomatoes are your thing.
