Excellent food, friendly attentive staff, LOVE this place. Best hidden treasure ever! This little place is an outstanding treat if you like real Cajun food. They serve the best seafood gumbo I’ve ever had and I’ve been to numerous places all over the south. The place is clean and the prices are below what I would pay for the quality of food. I cannot wait to go back.
The buffet here uses to be a good local eatery, but even the locals don’t eat it much anymore the waitresses here make it so obvious it’s only about a quick tip they could careless other wise an the food on there buffet SUCKS like one day I went an there was hamburger steak well I don’t know anybody that puts out frozen soy bean burgers for hamburger steak also they should be ashamed to put what they call gumbo as cajuns, that’s not gumbo! There side have no seasoning at all, salad wilted an it what it is from start to finish( not fresh )this pretty much did it for me after the last six times I’ve been , I was also toll by a friend that no longer goes that now they use some frozen nasty meat balls in there meatball stew wow !

I had the gumbo today, chicken and sausage. The top had a layer of grease and was not very tasty. I had the firecracker shrimp and they were good. Bring your wallet with you though, slightly expensive.
The rice palace is exellent! It has an ice cream machine that you can fix ice cream for free! It has the best cheese sticks!
