So just got home with the food and instead of meat pies, they gave me half eaten chicken nuggets. One of the employees must have thrown his or her dinner in with our pick up order .I have lost all faith in this place .. . Sad the employees are running this potential money maker into the ground …30 Mar, 2014So this place could be really good if they replaced some of the employees … I called to order and got put on hold for ten minutes … When I hung up and called back , line was busy…they left the phone off the hook all the way up until I got there to order in person 25 minutes later… .. One girl was really nice and apologetic but the girl that put me on hold had an attitude.. This place needs to get it together
HORRIBLE Service. Went to eat here last night and while the foods was okay (not terrible, but nothing to rave about) the service was terrible. To start the girl behind the register was barely able to concentrate on taking our order. Then my husband and daughter got their sandwiches a full 10 minutes before my baked potato came out. When I finally asked the girl she told me that there were 5 potatoes ahead of mine and the oven only holds 2 at a time. She couldn’t tell me that when she brought the sandwiches? Then I asked her for butter and after waiting for what seemed like forever (all the while she chatted with a table that had just come in) I got up and went to ask someone behind the counter for the butter. Well that girl was busy on the phone making her New Year’s Eve plans. I finally managed to get the dishwashers attention and got my butter. NEVER again.
Great burgers and a smoke free bar.
Good food, enormous portions. Get the fried mushrooms. Enough to serve 2 or 3 people as a meal and absolutely delicious. The chicken fingers are about the same way, delicious and an absolutely ridiculous amount of food.
I always get the quarterback burger. Cannot fail with this burger. Rest is clean and good atmosphere.
Pub food in Destrehan. If you are passing through Destrehan and are looking for some quick, filling fare that is not fast food this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable, quality is above average, and quantity is way above average. Examples: The Home Run Burger is two half pound (at least) patties on ten inches of po-boy bread with a side of fries… The Chicken Finger Basket is no less than a pound of fried chicken surrounded by a plethora of fries…The Sports Pub also lives up to its name with several large screen TVs and pool table. The bar is well stocked and even has upwards of six different daquiri flavors if that’s your thing.
Sport’s Pub & Grll. The food here is very good. It’s shows as being in Luling, but it’s in Destrehan right off of Airline Hwy. in the Ormond shopping center.
