Fried shrimp is perfection!!!! I’m not a fan of fried seafood especially shrimp. I usually like my seafood boiled or grilled but this shrimp was perfect in every single way! I ate every bite and wanted more. The batter was amazing. I’m really excited to come back and try the fried oysters. I highly recommend this place!
Diner from elsewhere. This is a great little neighborhood cafe with a family feel. Good food, can’t say I’ve had anything I didn’t like! Owner cracks me up every time I see him and his wife is just a sweetheart! Very nice, helpful people answered my questions about being new here and pointed me in the right direction for things to do and places to go. Will miss this place when it’s time for me to leave. : )
This place definitely has a neighborhood feel. Who I assume was the owner, was a trip. Seems like a cool guy. The waitresses were attentive and frendly. As far as the food goes: I had the seafood baked potato. It was a regular, nice sized, potato but the amount of seafood was lacking for the $10.95 it cost. The flavor was simple but good. I enjoyed it. My buddy had a bacon cheese burger and fries. Real fresh meat patty was flavorfull and the fries were regular & plain but nicely fried in clean oil. I look forward to trying them again when I’m back in town.
The Chance is a good place for burgers and such. Not the best place for dish and platter foods. I was there recently and ordered the ribs ( told by a friend they were good – awhile back ) and they were disgusting! The Club sandwich is awesome. Not trying to put the place down. I do like the burgers and sandwiches.
Very appropriately named since they have recieved my First and Last Chance to impress me. The food was gross and the service was only marginally better. It was cheap but it wasn’t worth it.
Amazing service, friendly employees, AWESOME FOOD!! Try going for a football game and try the incredible hor d’oeuvres!!
