I dont know what some others are thinking not giving this place a 5.0… but yall need to know that place is AMAZING! We tried most everything on the menu and nothing disappointed! They were late sitting us for our reservation and the manager made up for it big time! Also, the chocolate cake will change your life!
Went here for the first time for an anniversary dinner and everything was superb. Loved the house made pickles and chips! We had the crab beignets, and I hade steak & frites and my husband had a barbecue platter – the sauces were sooooo good!
Stopped on the way back to Texas…did not regret. Great food & atmosphere, which is challenging. My husband order tacos and said the pulled pork was the best hes ever had.
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The staff is polite and professional. We love the chips and pickles. Wife started with a Frose and I had Tin Roof Blonde. The menu is loaded with options. We shared the queso, a BBQ platter with tender brisket, pulled chicken, and pork. Loved the sauces, my favorite was the mustard. We shared the mac and cheese, OMG, so delicious. We saved roomed for dessert, the carrot cake is massive and enough for 6 people! We had leftovers for 2 days and the food was delicious. You could taste the smokiness of the BBQ, everything was well balanced. Loved the interior of the restaurant too. Very comfortable with a modern country feel.
We enjoyed a late lunch here Saturday. We were seated right away and were brought delicious bread and butter pickles and home-made potato chips to enjoy while looking over the menu. I ordered the Sliders Trio – chicken, pork, and beef brisket respectively. Delicious choice but the pork was my absolute favorite! I liked the fact the slider buns were pretzel buns, able to tolerate all the yummy sauce I spooned over the nice portion of meat stacked on the slider. Highly recommend! Oh, and the Diet Coke is served over ice, poured from those little glass bottles . So good!!
Went around 1pm, got seated right away. I got smoked quseo as an appitizer, it had a nice smokey flavor, very good! I got The Hog, which is a lunch special with ribs, pork, a side, and cornbread. I got the mashed potatoes and they were BOMB, the pork was my favorite! Both the ribs and pork were flavorful and moist. My lunch portion was huge, I wasn’t even able to eat half! Got a take home box and will be enjoying it all over again tonight. YOU MUST GET SOME CHOCOLATE CAKE, I have never received such a large slice of cake at a restaurant before! It was about half the size of a whole cake and tasted so damn good! Overall, i really enjoyed my experience they have tasty good with huge pprtions and friendly staff!
