Lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. Had a very good lunch at a good price.
Business that lacks. Customer service is outstanding, but the Owner of the restaurant could use a little help. He is never happy and always yells at the servers simply for laughing or chatting when business is slow. I was a server once and one cause of bad service is an unhappy staff. It makes the face of the business look bad and the environment less than enjoyable. I used to go into this place alot for the food but lately the quality has declined and you can tell that the meet has been sitting in the fridge for a long time. The place looks cheap on the inside and poorly modified. The air conditioning constantly breaks in the summer and the lighting is poor. I feel bad for the staff. R. Barraza better get his act together or he will see his business fall into pieces.
Horrible. Frozen appetizers. Mexican egg rolls? Same as chilies egg rolls. Stuffed peppers? Same as sonics. I rarely get a date night with my husband and was so disappointed that I blew my diet and a date night here. We ordered larger margaritas- they might as well have been $12 virgin margaritas. I left very disappointed. I never leave a bad review and rarely pay attention to them in reviews because they are so subjective. But I do not go out to a restaurant to have food that I can get at Walmart or a drive thru.
Grilled Meat. If you stick with the grilled meat, you will get a decent meal.
Taco salad. The salad was all meat and no lettuce, very disapointing, if it had not been for the chips and salsa I would have left hungry.
Taco salad was plane, just lettuce and not much salad. Just meat. Tacos didn’t have good flavor. Very disappointing.
