Great for the lunch specials and dinner specials too!. Either eat in at the modest tables inside or take out. The food is above average and the prices are really good, especially if you take advantage of the specials.Always needs to be one of these type places close by and when they have decent food it is a big plus.Stopped in for after church lunch one day and ate in and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had enough for dinner that night to take home too.Great egg rolls! Service is friendly. Try them out.
This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant!!!. Okay..I have to admit I was kind of hesitant to try them but I’m so happy I did! The salt and pepper chicken is absolutely amazing. So amazing that I can hardly wait til I’m in that area to get some more. The rice is flavored just right and there is so much of it you have plenty to make a couple of meals. I take friends to eat here all the time and the prices are really inexpensive considering you can eat get two meals in one. I can’t believe folks didn’t enjoy it…they must not like Chinese food is all I can figure. I truly count this as my absolutely favorite Chinese restaurant in Baton Rouge!
Nothing special, but definitely not bad.. One of the main reasons I started eating here was because it was one of the few Chinese restaurants that would deliver to the Essen area. It’s average Chinese fare. I enjoy most of the 4 or 5 menu items I have tried. I’ve only placed delivery orders and I have had nothing but easy and convenient service. They always tell you 45 minutes, but it’s usually delivered before that or right on time. One night it was literally there in 20 minutes and I just couldn’t believe they could have even made it that quickly. They have always gotten my order correct and nothing has ever seemed old, cold, or unfresh. Prices are good for what you get. Overall, I enjoy ordering from here.
Best Customer Service. This have been my restaurant for food for a long time. I have never had any problems with their food or customer service.The lady who runs the register always treats me with respect and make me feel welcome. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Frozen Rain. The person who wrote the reviews about bad delivery is wrong. He also did not mention that fact on that day is was under 30 degrees and was raining frozen rain. He also did not mention that was waiting at the door for 20 minutes knocking and ring the door bell before calling. After I called there was no answer ,so i left because there were other customers who wanted their food waiting on their food.
Avoid this place!!!! Their seafood items taste VERY fishy and their meat options tastes extremely off. The only thing that tastes okay are the fortune cookies. Lol!
Good food. Great sized portions. Awesome lunch specials for $5.50 with drink.
