Worst service. I ordered the pepper steak and the steak was rubbery and tasted bad. So i went to return it to get a return and the lady got mad af at me because i didnt like. I then asked the cook and when i asked them he gave me my refund and then yelled at me and said ‘GOOOOO’ in a loud voice and kicked me out. So if you ever go there try to return your food and see how that turns out. Would never go back
Always good!. We have been ordering from China House 1 since it opened, now all of our families go there. The staff is always nice and the food is hot and delicious!Other local chinese restaurants in the area.just can’t compare.Love ’em!
Good food and good prices too! I been a costumer for 6+years. Never had any issues with the food. Usually get the General Tso Chicken or the Pepper Steak dinner combo. Sometimes the Tso is not as spicy As I would like, but still the best take out place around. Friendly staff, they always ask for my spouse.
Tasteless. I ordered 3 entrees and 3 sides to go. Every dish was flavorless, soggy or greasy, especially the wings. The Moo Goo Gai Pan’s sauce was bland and the chicken was under cooked. The Vegetable Mei Fun barely had vegetables in it. The Crab Rangoon didn’t taste like there was any crab meat in it. The white rice didn’t taste fresh. We did not have the option of white meat chicken on Sesame Chicken or General Tso. The one thing that was palatable was the egg roll. Obviously , a chef did not cook the food. I think the majority of it is pre-made and kept frozen until ordered. I don’t know how this restaurant has stayed in business with so many wonderful Chinese restaurants in Baton Rouge.
Great food/ portion sizes, and great prices. I have been frequenting this establishment for over 10 years and the service and food are awesome. 2 thumbs up.
Great Chinese Food!!. I’ve been a customer for 7+ years. The food is never a disappointment and the service is above average. The price is affordable however, they do not offer a buffet. I can say that I have plenty of choices of Chinese food in the Coursey & Lake Sherwood area to chose from…this is definitely my choice!
Love this place!. I’ve been coming here with my man for over 10 years and we love it! The Mandarin chicken, beef with veggies, and sesame chicken are amazing!
