New spot for us after viewing potential new homes in the area. Had read about it prior and heard good things. Nice bistro style surroundings and cool bar area for sports watching and drinks too.Menu has a bit of it all from pasta and seafood to poboys and burgers. Also raw and chargrilled oysters. Happy hour till 6 with $3 draft and house vino.We got seafood stuffed mushrooms for $8.99, split a burger and I had a side salad. Shrooms were rich and crispy swimming in a crawfish sauce. Pretty tasty. Side salad for $4.99 was edible but the same Baton Rouge, pretty much lettuce only, formula here. Weird salad market.Burger was good but not great and we were not asked how we wanted it done, sometimes not a good sign. Bun overwhelmed it a bit but none left on plate. Fries were very good. Hot, homemade tasting and great with ketchup.Lots more to try so we will return soon.
We had a large group of at least 20 children and adults. Service was great and the dish I got was called the Cajun. It was simply one of the best dishes that I have eaten in along time.

I went here for Sunday brunch. The staff in general was pretty nice. I was sort of forced to come here due to my cousin wanting to here. I thought i would hate it due the past reviews of this place. I thought restaurant had a good atmosphere and loved that they tv everywhere. I ordered the oyster Benedict with a side of grits. The oyster Benedict was tasty but the grits were disappointing to say the least. They were called creamy grits but wasn’t creamy but dry. Although, staff was nice our server rarely checked up on us and waiting a long time just to get refills.
Salt with a side of fried seafood.. Been several times over several years time, and the fried seafood is freakishly salty. Disappointing.
Nice Lunch! Great oysters. I work near City Cafe and eat there a few times a month. When oysters are in season there is no place I would rather go. They have the coldest freshest oystrers I have ever eaten. Stopped in one night, want to say a Thursday but I may be wrong. It was wing night. My fiance and I sat at the bar drank cold beer and ate some pretty good wings. Lunch is my go to. The have a daily lunch menu of around 4 items. There always have a 1/2 poboy soup combo, a wrap either blackend shrimp or chicken, a Fish of the Day, and a comfort food ie Pot Roast & Gravy, Chicken Parm. Most all of the lunches are between $9 and $12 for the most expensive dish. I have always recieved fast and friendly service. It’s a nice restaurant with pretty good food. No real compaints.
Disappointed. Went for Sunday brunch and ordered the French toast and a side of breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were good, but the French toast was really crispy and almost inedible. I will probably go back and try something else.
