Skip this place. I have eaten here before with excellent results, but I wish I would have read the reviews lately. After 45 minutes of waiting (and the restaurant wasn’t packed) we received cold pasta dishes. I complained to the waitress and her remark was oh sorry. With my bill being over $100 we will not be back.
Quoted 15 minutes on the phone for a pizza order to go. 40 minutes later I’m still waiting on the pizza. The restaurant was not very busy.
Why do people like this place?. Im Stefon and I would like to tell you about Baton Rouges latest lousy place to eat, DeAngelos. Nestled in a strip mall between an office supply store and a hair salon, DeAngelos is the place to go for soggy pizza and poor service. Born from a Mario Brothers fans 8-bit concept of Italian food, DeAngelos is not the place to eat dinner. This place has everything: dead plants, mingled aromas of Lysol and mildew, an expired health inspection certificate, and waiters who are as inattentive as they appear to be high. If youre looking for dinner in Baton Rouge, try somewhere else.
Food was great, service was soooo sloooow. I have a feeling that the location at Bluebonnet and Perkins needs better management.
Off day. A usually Excellent restaurant was not as good as usual today. Definitely plan to return, probably within the next month, but wonder if there might be a management problem (hmmm).
The Best. By far, this is the best pizza that Louisiana has to offer. It is the closest thing to back home that I’ve experienced in over 4 years of moving to LA. We will be back for sure!!!
Best food EVER!!!!!. I’m from wv and I don’t get a chance to visit BR too often, But when I do DeAngelos is the first place I go to. I am the owners sis in law so I always get the best deals.I have been with them through the good and bad and they always rise to the occasion. Best food comes from the heart. And that’s exactly what Louis Deangelo deliver.
