When I’m craving fried catfish my choice is George’s. I grew up with a catfish place across the street from my house and this is the only place in BR that comes close. Tried the cheese fries with japs for the first time today and they were good but the Chimes is better. And the service is not always great, but today was good.
LOVED IT!!…… …had the privilege of discovering this place for the first time with the family this past weekend as I was attending soccer games. Very good cheeseburger and fries. Everything on the menu look delicious. I have to go back many more times just to try it all.
Horrible food! Cheese sticks were still frozen on the inside, nothing tasted good.
Decent food. George’s has pretty good food. Their ordering system is a bit unique in that you write down what you want and hand it to the bartender/cashier. The cheese fries come out pretty well. George’s seems to be voted best burger in town a lot. I would say it’s a decent burger, but certainly not the best in Baton Rouge.
It’s a local thing, not too pretty but fits my eclectic, out ofthe way, neighborhood joints. You’ll be at home however you’re dressed or what you drive. Every thing is good from the muffaketta to the catfish. I especially like the shrimp poboys.

Good Bar, Average food. This is a nice bar with a decent beer selection, but the food falls a little short for me. Go accross the street to Sammy’s
