Pleasant Surprise. After having read a couple of bad reviews on Jones Creek, we decided to go anyway on Mother’s Day for their brunch. It had been a long time since we visited this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the good service given us here. We would recommend it to anyone. We WILL go back.

Great Experience. I chose to have our son’s rehearsal dinner at Jones Creek Caf because of the convenient location and the nice patio area. We had never eaten here before but I figured if a place in Baton Rouge has been open for as long as this place has, they must be doing something right. It turned out to be a GREAT decision. The owner went out of her way to make planning the event painless and her crew went above and beyond in all aspects of service. The food was top shelf and the wait staff made sure we lacked for nothing. My goal was to have a fun, relaxed party where everyone could kick back, eat some good food, have a few drinks and enjoy themselves before the big day and Jones Creek Caf delivered on all counts.

Extremely Slow Service On A Quiet Night. We went to the cafe on a Wednesday night. Most of the tables were empty. After 45 minutes, we had seen our waitress three times but no food was served. We asked what had happened and were told that the other waitress had taken our food to another table. There was no estimate on how much longer we would need to wait on a simple sandwich, so we left.

After reading the reviews, I was VERY leery. But I was meeting a group. I ordered French Dip poboy. IT WAS FANTASTIC!Service was great! The food took a while but well worth the wait. Our whole party was satisfied.

Is this place still open?. It’s rather disgusting. Last time we were there (a while ago), the chair I sat on was covered with catsup. Food was not good. Service was worse. Had to chase down our check. Used to go on regular basis years ago. It’s a sad little place now. Stay away.

We just ate here.. Have heard fairly good things about this place but whoa. I feel so mad that I just spent 60$ on the most mediocre dinner ever. My fianc got the seafood platter (21$) which was not cooked all the way, the soft shell crabs were RAW inside. I got the crawfish fetticine ($17) which tasted gritty and I know even I could have made a better fetticine at home. Just not worth the money spent at all!

Used to be really good. Then, they moved to their current location. EVERYTHING went down. Food served tepid, poor service, and it’s turned into a bar that happens to serve food. No thanks.
