Excellent Mexican food, great tacos and the Chili Relleno is the special on Tuesday. Not much for ambiance being that it’s in the back of a grocery store but this little hidden gem is my go to for authentic Mexican food.
We were looking for a new place to eat. I went to Yelp on the internet and found La Mexicana and it appeared to be good from all the reviews I read. The tacos were highly suggested and so was the carne asada so that’s what we ordered. My steak was so tough and so full of Gristle I could not even cut it to put it in a tortilla much less chew it. We found the food did not have any flavor seasoning or anything like that. We will not go back. My husband says they are on our quote one and done unquote list. One visit and we’re finished with them is what that means.
