  After Three months working in northern Louisiana this restaurant I found offered the best service by far and the food was better tasting than many other so called highly rated restaurants my team dined at. Prices are reasonable, serving sizes was large Only discordant note was a colleague ordered a pecan pie asking it not be heated. He received it hot. I ordered a sizzling fajita skillet apple pie ala mode and the pie was cold other than that food was goodAlcohol: Serves only beer and wine and has no bar. Service was excellent and a pleasure to find a server so friendly and attentive. Servers name was Reese

  Last Night. Everything was good last night at Lagniappe. The food, the waitress everything. Just about the best you can get in Baker. Also about the best that I have had in years of going there. I have always loved the menu, lots of variety, prices are good & I really like that. The bad thing about Lagniappe is it’s hit or miss. That goes for the waitresses & the food. You really never know what you’re going to get when you walk in the door.

  Jeremy’s exprience at Laginappe. Hello my name is jeremy i recently had a birthday party at Laginappe on august 9th 2014 i had a party of 8 people that joined me my dinner party complained of cold food batter falling off the food food was under cooked i had many complaints about my food as well i asked the manager to replace my food cause i wasnt happy with my food she never came to see about my complaints i had to go to the counter and beg them to have her come out the lady thats running the store is very rude she cut me off while i was talking to her and told me thst she wasnt replacing my food thats not her problem that its cold she said that she gave me what i asked for so i told her i want it replaced or i wont pay for it she the told me you ordered it so you will pay for it and then i told her ok i just wont come back here anymore my birthday party then wished me a happy birthday then the next thing i see is the police which was called for me she told them where i was seated and he watched me like a hawk i also heard her call me a fat bitch when i walked back to my seat the waiter said sir i am so sorry a lot of people complain about her attitude and how she raises her voice at people my birthday was reuined lagniappe was a place i loved since 1999 for seafood dishes and pasta but i wont ever be back this is my 3 bad experience with them if anyone have more questions about this please feel free to call me 2257336247

  Great food great price. I’ve done lunch here a few times and have always been impressed. Most recent visit, I ordered the lunch pork chops grilled(you can get them fried as well). They were huge as well as excellent! They came with a baked sweet potato topped with butter,cinnamon and sugar. The meal was more than I could finish despite being a 250 lb glutton that I am. If I recall, was about 9 bucks, so, great value. Other visits I have gotten the ribs, chicken fried steak, and the burger. All good.

  Cold food, poor service, even worst management. Ate At Lagniappe today 7/19/14 and received the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Ordered the lagniappe 2, specifically asked the waitress if the touffe would come with rice. She said no.. Needless to say the fried catfish covered with touffe came out as fried catfish with touffe (and rice) mixed in a bowl on the side. Both the touffe and my baked potato were slightly cooler than room temp. Potato was so cool the butter wouldn’t melt. I literally scooped out a big lump of cold butter because it wouldn’t melt or mix in with the cold potato. Asked to speak with a manager and she came out very rude and combative. Informed me that she personally took the food from the line to the plates..when I told her she couldn’t be referring to that cold potato she said oh I didn’t check the potatos let me go check those. Ha! Jokes on me..she refused to return to our table.. Never offered an exchange or to remove the items. When I asked the waitress was she coming back to the table..waitress said…she’s in the bathroom.. I waited..asked for her again then eventually paid the full bill and left… Not worth the money …..oh that’s all after they were out of crab fingers and the signature sauce that was supposed to come with the chicken fingers… A waste of a Saturday evening

  Loved it. I ate there Wednesday 1-15-14 the food was great, I had the seafood plate,delicious. Service was good as well.

  Horrible Restaurant w/ BAD Service. This restaurant is extremely outrageous. The conduct of the SERVERS and management is beyond all bounds of decency and certainly not beyond reproach. My food was served cold, and drenched in a special sauce. FYI, don’t visit and be sure not to complain because if you do they will tell you will HAVE TO PAY FOR THE FOOD and CALL THE POLICE IF YOU ask why. I was not satisfied with my food as it was drenched with white sauce all over my plate, excessively. I asked for it to be made again. The waitress and manager refused to fix it again, talked over it for about 15 minutes, and brought me the cold plate back the CALLED THE POLICE on ME!!! I never refused to pay for it!! IT WAS JUST THE MANAGEMENT’S WAY OF LETTING ME KNOW THEY WERE NOT CHANGING THE COLD, DRENCHED FOOD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. BUT THEY WANTED TO INDICATE THAT I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR IT. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! YOUR FOOD BETTER BE PERFECT …IF NOT YOU ARE S.O.L!! THEY WILL CALL THE POLICE IF YOU COMPLAIN!!!
