Drinks 4 star with the Cinco De Mayo $5 Sauza Rita really hitting the spot. I usually never like frozen but these were really good. Perfect blend of sweet, tart and tequila. Food more in the two star range however. We went to enjoy Cinco De Mayo but not get into a big party scene. This place fit the bill here. Service was solid, atmosphere fine. Not sure how much we will visit due to there being quite a few Mexican joints in town. Good location right off 10 and Highland.

This was the first and last time I will dine here. The food was horrible everything was dry and smothered with processed cheese and bad sour cream. Also the napkins smelled of mildew.

Typical entrees, but they are good. Their salsa is pretty awesome and their flan is tasty as well.

Meh.. I used to go to the original location before it burned down. It wasn’t the best Tex-Mex in town, but it wasn’t bad, and it was convenient. There are at least half a dozen locations around the area now, and having been to several of them, I’m not sure why they bothered. This one, near the Interstate, again isn’t bad — just very lowest-common-denominator. The menu includes all the usual combo plates but there’s not one of them that catches my attention. The prices are getting a little high, too ($8 for a meatless bean burrito?). Casa Maria does the same sort of thing, frankly, but does it far, far better.

I will go back!. I haven’t been a fan of Las Palmas but I went last night with a friend and my mind was changed! They added a new item to the menu, Fish Tacos. They were really good, very simple and lots of flavor. The Sangria swirl is a must in the house Margarita! You should also make sure you look for and talk to Sam! Very nice guy. We even had perfect service on a new wait staff’s first night!
