Pretty averages overall. Good beans and rice. Decent sized tacos, but the meat was so/so. I had 3 soft tacos. Asada, carnitas and chicken. The asada was definitely the best, but that’s not saying much. Tortillas are thin and store bought. If I’m on this side of town, I could see coming again, but I won’t go out of the way.

The negative reviews for this restaurant are clearly trolling for another local Mexican restaurant (I’m looking at you Las Palmas). Everything is made super fresh, the prices are ridiculously cheap, and the portions are great. You can’t not leave this place happy. I’ve tried several things on the menu and everything has been really good. The pupusas, churros, and barbacoa tacos are the reason I will drive from Denham to Airline just to get take out. I see this place becoming crazy popular and it’s already super busy during lunch already. The owner/manager is a sweetheart on top of all that. If you like authentic Mexican you will not be disappointed in this place.
Extremely pricey for the small portions. My order came out wrong. It seems like the cashier couldn’t understand what I was ordering. I won’t be back.
Very unimpressed. I paid $11 for my meal. The entree was very bland and I did not even eat half. The salsa and queso were great but the chips that came with it were extremely stale. I will not be returning.
Really Enjoyed Tacos. I ordered several different Tacos and got a tamale. Really great food especially at the price. Don’t think of it as so much of a fancy dining Mexican restaurant and more like the Mexican equivalent of a poboy shop. Good and tasty authentic Mexican food.(not texmex like most places in town) I’ll be a regular.
Worst food ive ever experienced. dog food would’ve tasted better ….
