So so. The food is good here. The wait is way to long. We order for lunch and I ALWAYS have to wait. I call it in and wait twenty minutes to leave and still end up sitting there waiting another 20 – 30 minutes. Also, the people are rude on the phone. But the burgers are very good and the orders are always right so we keep going back.
Awesome burgers. Best patty melt in the city! super burger is also a great choice.
Second Impressions – And More. Well………. at the behest of some friends I tried it again and again and again.Since that first bad experience I can’t say I’ve ever had another negative experience. The burgers are great – the wife loves the tuna melt – all is good. Well…….. except………. for the hours they are open. We’d eat here a lot more except the only time they are open in the evenings – is Friday night. WOW, that’s what I want……. a successful business that’s only open 20 some hours per week.12 Oct, 2010Strike One. I’m going to try it again this week it looks like. I used to work 1/4 mile away. My only experience with them was a HUGE disappointment. I agree with a couple of the other reviewers…. I found the staff to be RUDE……. the wait to be LONG and then I finally got my burger. Back to my office, Open it up….. take a bite. Hmmmmm…… turn it over…….. Bottom of the bun was COMPLETELY molded over. I took it back……….. more rudeness………. basically just slapped another bun on it and sent me away.I’ll try it again this week, but……… BrewBachers is good, Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger is good…….. Lot of competition in the area!
Would not return – very disappointed. Purchased 1 Mushroom burger, 1 cheeseburger, and fries with both. Patties were large but bland, dry, and overcooked. The mushrooms had a fowl, burned taste. And although the fries had a good flavor, the texture (soft, mushy) was off-putting. Even if the food had been wonderful, however, I’m not sure that I would return – the restaurant (both front and back-of-house) was filthy. The experience was very disappointing.
Rude staff. We had HORRIBLE phone service when we called in our order. I simply asked the lady to call back my so I could verify I didnt leave anyone out AND she couldnt understand me, so I carefully and slowly asked again.. she again asked me if i wanted the total of the items.. i said yes but i needed the items called back to me as well.. then CLICK!! she hung up!! I called back and a VERY rude man answered, tells me i speak too fast and I dont give them a chance to talk and i want want want… Im thinking there must be new management or something over there..
Should go back soon!. I haven’t been to this location in a while – I should have been back sooner! They have SO much more than burgers now! I got fried green beans with my burger instead of fries.. SO GOOD! They also have many other new menu items, can’t wait to get back.. I’m sure I’ll have the burger every time, it’s just so good!
Best burger in the state!!!!!! They weigh a 1/2 pound full cooked- you can’t even eat the whole thing. A must eat in baton rouge
