Home cooked. If you are on or near Essen during the work week, go down to United Plaza, Building 2. Next to the Subway restaurant, to the left, you’ll see the Rouge Rabbit. The food there is invaluable resource to the people who work in United Plaza. They have delicious and fresh salads and wraps – but they don’t stop there. There is also a daily lunch special. This is the home cooking; the lady who owns the place cooks all the food right there. When you go in for breakfast, also really good, they’ve got whatever the day’s lunch special is cooking already. With lasagna, pot roast, and red beans like this, you’ll come back time and time again.
