This was slow season, July 7th to be exact. Only me and friendly heterosexual couple I had never met before were in there at the time. They were listening to the bartender on a rant about certain fagots he had an encounter with there. I tried to order a beer, although I am gay and wanted to make sure he didn’t have a problem with me being there in the first place. However, instead of serving me a beer, he went outside to take a cigarette break. At that point, I began a conversation with the couple who began explaining they had told him at least once before not to be so derogatory. Another couple came in while he was still outside with his cigarette, and he soon came back in with his boyfriend who had also just arrived. I still hadn’t got my beer but he said these new arrivals had been waiting and that he was going to punch me in the throat.
