Service and Consistency. Today as of May 12, 2014, a phone order was made for a easy Garden Salad with Italian dressing. After bringing the order back to my job and begin to eat it. I couldnt happen to notice the dirt that was in-between the lettuce and seems like a bit residue on the bottom of the container. I totally understand the concept of a garden salad but this was way pass what I expected. The gentleman at the front counter was very respectable in the order not being up to par, the short light skinned lady that was in the back was very rude, didn’t apologize for the mistake she made in preparing the salad that was ordered. She then goes on the snatch the bag the order was in, almost dropping it on the floor and walk away as the guy at the counter said he apologize once again. This is a nice place, you just have to catch it on certain days when certain people is cooking.

Thumbs Up. The prices are crazy reasonable for the quality of food. Very healthy options and cooked with healthy/clean eating in mind. The greens are stewed with turkey necks instead of hamhock. $9 for a nice serving of salmon with two sides and bread. $3 for breakfast eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage and toast. And everything is well-prepared and the service is friendly and efficient.
Best life IS THE BEST LIFE. WOW! This place specializes in ‘healthy soul food’ and is one of the few restaurants in new orleans NOT trying to kill you. Love the prices- the quantity given you is substantial and if you like you can pick up your prescription! It’s crazy, but it just might work!
I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, every time, the prices are beyond reasonable AND they deliver! I swear, if this place ever closes, I will cry…for days.
