I cant speak to any other food in this establishment, but putting a poboy on the table made of toasted hoagie bread is an unforgivable sin. As a native, it offended me. There are visitors to our city who will go home thinking they hate poboy and never know that they havent had a poboy yet. It was the first time I remember ever thinking that we need a poboy police.
I would only recommend the place for an average American style breakfast, with no lines to wait. Looks clean but old. Attentative service. About $10 per person. Do not expect much for Cajun food.
In a city with lots of competition, this restaurant is barely passable for Cajun food. Food was just OK. Service OK. They are very hard-core about not splitting checks no matter how hard it is for customers. Jambalaya was ok, but not great. Gumbo and red beans and rice were below average. If other places are open and available, I recommend them. If this is the only place open, keep your expectations low and try the breakfasts. They looked ok.
