Checking off another must visit bar in New Orleans. Check I really liked this bar, it reminded me of an old library. Dark wood, quite, chill vibes, books, dark, portraits lolThe food looked pretty good. The best part is they have a happy hour with a different speciality cocktail daily. Not a huge selection of apps on the happy hour but I decided to try the boudin rangoons, which were pretty good but nothing amazing. They tasted like fried, cream cheese with a little extra something in them, smothered in sweet tangy sauce. For the price I would say it’s ok.The happy hour drink was some kind of gin drink. It just tasted like a weird lemonade. I only ordered one. It was weak and meehhh not worth it. I guess depending on the drink it will be worth it or not.Theres plenty of bar space and even outdoor seating which I thought was cool.Friendly and attentive staff. I think I’d order a martini next time.
