Very good breakfast. Dined at Carli-Co several times now, had good to excellent service. If you go Saturday morning be warned it is very busy. Service could take a bit more time than usual. Just have a cup of coffee and chill, it is worth it. Food is like home cooked, they have the best south Louisiana cooks like most restaurants I grew up with, the black ladies who cooked for their families who know there craft. My hat’s off to you gals. Plenty locals who gather to visit and gossip with each other abound, nothing wrong with that. Overall highly recommended, you will leave content and full.
Went there for breakfast for the 1st & very disappointed from the start to finish. The place was packed & there was not sign to say, if we seated ourselves or need a waitress to seat us. After standing at the front for a minute, someone told us to sit anywhere we could find a seat. Waitress dropped off the menus & took our drink order. 5 minutes later back with drinks, but did not take our order. Another couple of minutes later, we flag her down to take our order. We ordered 3 different types of omelettes & a order of scrambled eggs with a biscuit. Food came out some what fast. The crawfish meat in 1 omelette was bad & u could smell it was bad too. The ham in another omelette was deli meat not cut up. My scrambled eggs were not scrambled & the biscuit was store bought. Waitress was hard to find to get a drink refill, so asked another waitress to help us out. Very disappointing breakfast & with very bad wait service we will not be going back.
Disgusting place, dirty, poorly prepared foods, just gross. Do not ever go to this dive, food is overcooked, dried, and not fresh at all. If you ask for help or hint at a complaint they become rude and unpleasant. I will never go back, don’t waste you time or money here.

Home Cookin’. Good food, generous portions and reasonably priced. Like eating at home, but you don’t have to clean the kitchen.
Ate there for the first time about a month ago for breakfast. Good food and the service was decent.
IT’S OPEN!!. It is back! Across Airline Hwy. from its crappy old location with twice the space, fresh decore, updated computerized ordering and booths! See the sign on Airline Hwy. just southeast of LA 44. Try the breakfast — yum, yum. I like to order a biscuit with gravy, topped with two over medium eggs and topped with their buttery grits. Ummmmm! (It is a special order, but it doesn’t upset their kitchen!)
