Love, love, love this restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating and the prices can’t be beat! Our absolute favorite is the steak fajita quesadilla. The meat is flavorful and tender and the vegetables are cooked to perfection! The restaurant itself is very unassuming and small, but it is worth going to.
Cheap and Delicious. I’ve probably been here 50 times in the last 5 years. It has it’s downsides, but the cheap prices and good food keep me coming back. The atmosphere feels authentic – you feel like you are in Mexico. The walls are made of plastered over chicken wire and painted horrendous colors, the light fixtures are upside-down flower pots, and the floor will have you questioning if the food is safe to eat. If your going for romantic date, try elsewhere. The service is spotty and sometimes downright bad; depends on the server. The food and prices never disappoint though. The fajita nachos, tacos de carne asada, and fajita quesadilla are my favorites. The margaritas are strong for $2.50 each. You can get tore up in El Mescal for $10/person. Despite the questionable cleanliness, I have never gotten sick from eating here.
