The food was disgusting and I couldn’t even tell the waiter because he didn’t speak English. So I ended up paying full price for a meal I couldn’t eat because it was to salty and had soggy steak. Who has soggy steak? How does one get meat soggy? The chips were stale, the restaurant wasn’t clean quite disgusting actually. The waiter grabbed another employee to figure out what a high chair is. We had to explain a seat for a baby they still didn’t know so there was no use complaining they wouldn’t have understood what we were saying. Afterwards my wife and i’s stomach has been hurting the last couple of days. I will never be back.

Good atmosphere, nice staff, bland food.. I was excited to try this new mexican offering in Gonzales, but I was ultimately disappointed. The atmosphere was appropriate for a mexican restaurant, and the wait staff was nice. I ordered the steak fajitas and my GF ordered an enchilada plate. The steak fajitas looked bland when they arrived. I was disappointed when they hit the table, and more so when I took my first bite. The meat and vegetables lacked seasoning, especially salt. I found it really odd that there was no hint of oil or color on the vegetables/meat. I would give the fajitas a 2/10. They were no offensive flavors, just no flavor. My GF said the enchiladas also left a lot to be desired. Namely the chicken was dry, the red sauce was mediocre, and the cheese sauce had an offensive flavor and a general lack of seasoning. We both agreed that the refried beans were good.If management is reading this… Consider putting some type of door/screen so people can’t see into the kitchen/store room.Step up your flavors. People don’t come to mexican restaurants for bland food.
