Probably the best Chinese buffet I’ve been to in recent memory. My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday around 2pm and it was fairly busy. All the food was fresh and consistently being refilled and/or stirred. Some of the things I thought were great: coconut shrimp (my favorite, fried shrimp in a sweet coconut cream sauce), butter pepper shrimp, seafood salad, a shrimp and celery dish in a white sauce (the dish was served cold), seafood bake, crab rangoons (surprisingly delicious cream cheese filling), seafood bun (the fried biscuit you find at most Chinese restaurants topped with a sweet seafood combo, excellent but very sweet and dessert like), boiled shrimp (was actually gulf shrimp!!). My boyfriend’s favorite item on the buffet was the bbq chicken on a stick, which I also enjoyed. The bbq sauce was very tasty. Some things I thought were just ok: egg rolls, sushi (considering this was a buffet I consider this pretty high praise, the tuna sashimi was above par and everything else was fresh), lo mein, spinach covered in cheese dishDishes that were bad: clam chowder (when I tried this I made such a face that my bf thought it must be fishy or something, it wasn’t, it tasted like cream and nothing else), cucumber and tomato salad (this is just me since I don’t like Italian dressing and this dish was saturated in the stuff), crawfish (I didn’t try these because I never do at buffets, but the bf said bleh).Everything else we didn’t try or it didn’t leave a lasting impression. The place was clean and tidy, all the food looked fresh and well kept up, the staff was friendly. Since this place has received some negative reviews I’m going to say either they improved drastically or Sundays are the best days to go. $12.99 per person all day on Sundays and it was money well spent.

Stopped here for lunch since it had been a while. Never again. They weren’t very busy, but it took a while for my drink to make it to my table. Waitress didn’t clear the table at all while I was eating, either (had a neat little stack of plates). Ended up having to wait a while for my bill, but when she came back with the slip to sign, the she waited impatiently for me to sign so she could take it and clear the table all at once. Super rude. Also, when she brought the check, there was a fortune cookie on the tray. I’m not a fan (they’re usually stale) so I left it on the tray. I’m guessing this is offensive, because she took it off the tray and put it on the table rather rudely. Food was okay. Some stuff was cold (at peak lunch hour). I could deal with okay food if I had good service. Won’t be going back.
