Unhappy with BBQ Hickory Brisket. My husband & I visited Ground Pat’I -Gretna as we have done many times in the past. I ordered my regular–BBQ Hickory smoked brisket, which is usually good. The brisket had an unpleasant taste, which is not consistent with prior visits. My husband’s Hamburger Steak was room temperature (not hot)!On a positive note, the waitress was very attentive and the salad was fresh!

Burger no good, but at least it cost a lot. I so wanted to like this place, but it was the driest burger I’ve ever eaten. I’d actually rather have a McD’s burger for $1.
The west bank location has terrible service. Had several dirty plates and napkins in one visit. Not a good sign. And yes the napkins!!! They were stained as if something was spilled on them. Burger and fries were cooked perfect. However the bacon wasn’t the usual applewood, yet seemed as if it was a thin grocery store bacon. Won’t be going back.
A great burger at a reasonable price. I’ve been patronizing ground pat’i since I was a kid in the ’80’s & it has remained consistently solid. I will be back.
I luv ground pati!!:) when u go get cheese sticks and onion rings 4 a app. Then get a ground pati a/ a potato !! Mmmmmm……. A party in your tummy!!:)
