First less than stellar experience. Came in for lunch and the food was great… the guacamole on the other hand was old… and obviously so. We sent back our order of extra gaucomole hoping for a remake, but none was offered. He even brought more of the old stuff on my fajitas plate, also sent back. The pina coladas were out and the strawberry margaritas ran out after the first one… hope this place isn’t going down already! Lowered teo stars.Previously… Just visited again and everything was great, upped my rating!Previously…We heard that this was opened by the same people that previously owned El Tapatio… which was one of our favorite tex-mex spots for years. Our party of 5 was seated immediately and the service was great and friendly. They brought plenty of salsa, but it just didn’t have the zing it used to have… a little too much on the tomatoes. The fajitas were great portions as usual for a great price. The chicken, steak and shrimp were all top quality meats. The kids had quesadillas, both shrimp and chicken… and seemed satisfied. The youngest had a kid’s nacho plate with added jalapeos. Our adult drinks were great too. So… definitely worth a visit… the salsa is not as it was before… but that’s just my opinion. We’ll be back soon.
