Well, currently it’s the only breakfast buffet in the area, until the new big buffet opens. Located in a truck stop environment, The Iron Skillet is still inviting and friendly. We had the breakfast buffet and my son had a chicken sandwich… which he really enjoyed. In hindsight, we all should have ordered from the menu. It’s not that the buffet was bad… it was just bland and unimpressive. I couldn’t even convince the kids to get pancakes a second time to make the purchase price worthy. The service was very friendly and did a pretty good job.

Greasy spoon. Typical greasy spoon spot. Food was cheap, and plenty of it. But it tasted awful, and looked three days old. Most truck stops have great food, but not this one.
Memories… At one point not too long ago, Iron Skillet was the only place you could eat after 10pm, and pay with plastic. I always liked it. good hardy fare.
Wow. I am impressed with the food here even though it’s just a pit stop restaurant for truck drivers. The seafood was actually pretty good and fresh and the prices were right. I will eat here again!
