Good food at times. Been there several times. Food is good but inconsistent. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. The other time we got a big order then the next time hardly any for the price. Cut very thick and very greasy. Realized after we left no apple delight on lg. Seafood platter and no salad another time. Very inconsistent . Staff needs some training….
Since our last visit, not only is the service unreasonably slow, but the once good food is now mediocre at best. We were ther 2 days in a row for lunch. The first day we had 2 hamburger steaks and a hamburger. We arrived at 11:44am and did not get food till 1:00pm. The second day we had a fried chicken platter and a shrimp poboy with onion rings. We arrived at 10:44 and were the first table. We got our food at 12:10. My brothers chicken was hot and fine; my poboy was very sparse and the onion rings were cold and greasy. The kitchen is the bottleneck and the problem at this place. If you need a quick lunch do NOT go here.
YUM-E!. Service is worth the wait! And with the good ole-boy/Cajun family atmosphere, your eyes can’t get a look at all the wall deco before the food arrives, anyway. And the food is so good! Rich, but not too heavy.
Slow service but fresh is never fast.
Hands down best fried chicken ever!!!! The service is a bit slow. They have a great atomsphere at dinner time especially on the weekends feels like everyone is friends. 🙂 again I can not say enough good things about this chicken it is a must have
