On a recent trip down to Bayou Country, we decided we needed a good burger for lunch, so the search began. A few locals recommended a local cafe, but we decided to go with Big Mike’s and we were not disappointed. With only two burgers on the menu, you might be hesitant to order one, but they are anything but average. The smokehouse is a really good standard burger that traditionalist burger fans will love. The BBQ Blues Brisket Burger I had was over the top with toppings and flavor. Both burgers are cooked to your preference and served with fries. Check the YouTube video review at Best Burger Adventures to see how they loaded my burger up with brisket, bacon, cheese and grilled onions. The order routine is a little different and you have to order at the counter and serve yourself with regards to drinks. They do bring the food out to you and check on you often for a great overall BBQ experience. We’ll definitely stop back in when we are in the Houma or Thibodaux area and you should too!

He was amazed I’ve been eating Mike,s BBQ as long as I can remember visiting the Houma Area used to buy it in the Shell Gas station wow the restaurant is big change but still awsome BBQ.
