Horrible!!!. Horrible service and food!! My order is never right when I order out, I always end up having to go back to get it fixed. And the people in there all act like they don’t want to help you. Do not recommend!!
Never again!!!. Every single time I’ve been to this place they have my order wrong! It never fails 100% of the time! They always seem too busy to help you and yet there’s no one in the place. I will not eat here again!

It was good, not bad, not impressive…..
Both dishes were not bad, and can be honestly called good. We have tasted worse, believe me. We have also tasted better. The best was the Peking Restaurant. Originally on Main St. and then on North Hollywood Rd, when Paul and Yovonne Louie the original owners worked it. No Chinese restaurant in Houma has come near that establishment in taste. I suspect none ever will either. Next that in taste order was Sheriff Harry Lee’s sister’s restaurant in New Orleans.As for the Gourment? Seems it should be Gourmet since I’ve not been able to find the word Gourment in the dictionary. It is a nice place run by friendly foreigners of apparentl oriental descent. We had the above titled dishes and they were good. Not excellent, but we didn’t expect excellence considering the prices. I find that the Hong Kong on West Park Ave has better Lemon Chicken & Mandarin Chicken and the serving it much bigger.But for the honest truth we have to say that Gourment House food was good and we will return to support it as we try to do for a lot of restaurants. We like to see the communty have a choice of cultural foods.We intend to try the White Bowl, Vientnamese Restaurant on Enterprise Drive, soon. Like maybe tomorrow? Eat, sleep, live and enjoy life; it isn’t really that long of a ride.
The orange chicken is delicious! I wish I had discovered this place sooner. We r now regular customers!
Best Chinese food in town! Hot and sour soup was great, as was the moo shoo pork, but the general tso chicken is amazing.
