Very bland…. La casa used to a very nice Mexican restaurant that actually tasted fairly authentic. We just finished our dinner and it was not very satisfying. First of all, we ordered the queso dip and once it got to the table just the look of it was questionable. It literally tasted liked the industrial sized canned nacho cheese you can get at sam’s. Then we ordered our entrees. I got the shredded chicken taco salad which was very mushy and had little to no flavor. My husbands fajitas first came out with the wrong meat and when he did get the right entree it also was very bland. Not quite the la casa we’ve known in the past…definitely not impressed by this change in quality. Would not recommend any time soon.
They have made huge improvements. A few years ago a stopped eating at this restaurant for a few reasons. One the conditions was very unsanitary and the service sucked. But then after about 3 years or so of boycotting this place I went with some friends even though I didn’t want to and was really surprised with the service and sanitation. The restaurant was very clean and the server we had was awesome. I have been there multiple times since and every time I went had awesome service and food.
Salsa tasted like pace jar salsa , fajita has a tons of vegetable like carrot , broccoli , cauliflower ! I thought I was eating vegetable fajita . I guess it was ok for around this area but I had a much better before !!!
Not like it use to be. La Casa was the place to go but over the last years it has not been the same. You have to pay for chips after the 1st basket.
Tex Mex the way I remember it. If you are looking for old school local Mexican from the 70s, this is the place, and it’s very good. Not my favorite Mexican but still recommended and worth another visit some day. I got the hard taco, soft taco, cheese enchilada, and beef enchilada – I think it was only $7.99 for all that with rice and beans.
Could be better. Waitress could have given better service, food is somewhat overpriced for what you get. The burritos are good but the salsa is one of the worst i have had.
