Imperial rolls were deliciousness hugged in a crispy exterior. The dipping sauce was perfect. The charcoal shrimp over vermicelli noodles was spectacular. I had no choice but to order Singapore noodles to go. This will be my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in New Orleans.
Oldy but Goody. Kim Son was for many here in the city the first restaurant to create a demand for Viet cuisine. I had my first meals here back in 1989 after returning from a trip to Thailand. Found the flavors so close to what I experienced in SE Asia and it became a regular haunt for years. Haven’t been back in some time with so many more convenient options that have burst on the scene as the years passed. My recent visit did not disappoint. It also brought back some fun old memories.

Easily the best Vietnamese/Asian food in town! This place does not disappoint. The shrimp toast and spring rolls are great appetizers. The imperial role is magnificent. They also have very good soups. #20, General’s Chicken, is my favorite entree.
