Went to Pier 4 for the first time the other night. The server was wonderful and suggested the Gumbo which was the best gumbo I had in New Orleans, and I’ve had a lot! I ordered the Pasta Neptune. Great! Great! Great! The gentleman that I was with ordered the oyster which was worth waiting for! We had prompt and professional service.I will certainly go back…that baked potato is still on my mind…so I will definitely go back for that. The only thing I didn’t care for at Pier 4 is the ambiance. It doesn’t have enough of an intimate feel.

My fianc and I wanted to try pier 4 for valentines dinner for the first time and it’s turning out to be hell. We sat in a both which was great for us. Now I can under stand that it would be busy but 25 to 30 mins for an appetizer, I don’t think so! The 2 tables before us were served there food and appetizers before us. I can honestly say that it wasn’t a big turn out for valentine’s day at pier 4 so why were we skipped and had to wait for our first course, unbelievable!!!!!! But I can say that the only good part of our night at pier 4 is that the sever Jordan was very pleasant and sweet. This damn near almost ruined my night. Oh one more thing my fianc was watching your cooks eating in the back while we were still waiting. The nerve!!!!!!! Thanks for a wonderful night pier 4!!!!!!
WORST SERVICE EVER. I know not every server is bad but tonight we had the worst server i’ve ever experienced having! thank god i had a friend who works there and he made things a tiny bit better, but our server was just terrible! took him 40 mins to get our drinks and food order then another hour to get our steak. my friend brought out our soup and salad…. and then our server goes and tell us that ribeye (cooked medium) takes a long time. I know damn well that he was lying. he never wrote our orders down so he forgot it. I worked in a restaurant and I know it doesnt take an hour to cook steak. ughh!!!! and he never gave my mom back her change. assuming she didnt need her change back.
